DIY Sea Shell Frame

A beautiful use for the jars of beach shells you collected on your vacation is to use them to frame a happy memory from the trip!

Instead of leaving all of the shells we collected on our happy beach walks, I decided to make something with them. I had a few plain wood frames in the house, and a few minutes sorting and planning the design for this embellished frame was well worth the effort.
Got out my trusty glue gun (I'm the queen of the glue gun on our block) and got to work glueing the delicate shells down. As you can see, I also included some pretty white stones as well as the pink body of a crab---and a few claws---that my son had found.
The photo I have in this charming frame is another reminder of our happy walks, where my son loves looking for crabs under rocks and seaweed.
